Your parking session will automatically start and end if you use an unreserved permit.
Entering the car park:
Drive to the car park entrance, making sure you’ve loaded your licence plate to your account in advance.
The ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) camera will scan your license plate. If a permit is available, your session will start automatically in the app and the gate will automatically open.
If the gate does not open automatically:
Check the Parkable app and if permits are available you'll receive a notification with a banner:
"Are you driving [ABC123]? Tap to enter the car park”
Tap the banner and select "Confirm" to open the gate immediately and start your session.
If you have not received a notification, just scan the QR code at the gate and follow the prompts.
If no permits are available, or the car park is full, follow the options available to you in the app.
Exiting the car park:
1. Drive to the car park exit.
2. The ANPR camera will scan your license plate, open the gate, and automatically end your session.
If the exit gate does not open automatically:
Use the corresponding banner in the app to open the exit gate, which will also end your parking session.
If you do not receive a notification in your app by the time you reach the gate, scan the QR code at gate to exit the car park.
