1. Open the Parkable app.
2. From the home screen, Tap the car park you want to use today. Check the real-time availability of parking spaces before selecting the car park.
3. Tap "Start parking" when you are ready to begin your session. You can also use the 'Reserve bay' feature to hold a parking space for up to 30 minutes at no cost. After the reservation period, your parking session will automatically start, and charges will commence.
4. On the "Confirm details" screen, check the carpark hours. Ensure it suits your planned parking duration.
5. Check that the "Vehicle" displayed matches the licence plate of the car you are driving.
6. Tap the green "Confirm" button to start your session.
7. Tap "Stop parking" when you leave the car park.
The 'Reserve bay' feature allows you to hold a parking space for up to 30 minutes at no cost. If you do not start the session within the 30-minute reservation period, your parking session will automatically start, and charges will commence. This feature is particularly useful for ensuring a parking spot during busy times.
If you want to park at a different car park, Tap the grey "Public parking" button to see other options.
Always remember to end your parking session in the app when you leave the car park to avoid unnecessary charges.
