Overview
You can find parking facilities in three places in the Parkable app — your home screen, the Public parking map, and your Saved list.
Home screen
Your home screen shows what's most relevant to you:
Private parkers see the parking facilities they have access to
Permit holders see their permit details
Public parkers see the parking facility they last used, plus a carousel of nearby options
New parkers see quick links to nearby parking facilities
If you have an active session, the home screen shows your session details instead.
Public parking map
To browse public parking facilities on a map:
From the home screen, tap Public parking
Type an address into the search bar to centre the map on that area
Select Hourly or Monthly to filter by parking type
Tap a pin to see availability, pricing, and parking details
What the map pins mean
Green pin with a car icon — public hourly or daily parking
Green pin with a key icon — public weekly or monthly permit parking
Pink pin — a private parking facility you have access to
Plug icon in the top-right corner — EV chargers are available at this parking facility
Note: Some pins represent a campus made up of multiple parking facilities at the same location (each typically with its own access gate). When you tap in, you'll see the facilities within and can choose the one you have access to.
Saved list
Your Saved tab in the bottom navigation bar shows:
Parking facilities you've favourited
Private parking facilities you have access to
Tap any of them to view details or start a session.
Can't find your private parking?
Private parking facilities are only visible to people who have been invited. If you can't see yours, see My workplace has Parkable but I can't find the car park in the app..
