Overview
You can reserve a space through the Parkable app up to 30 minutes before you arrive. Your space is held for 30 minutes — if you don't cancel within that window, your reservation automatically converts into an active parking session and the hourly rate begins.
You'll get a push notification when the reservation converts into a session.
Note: Reservations are available at selected parking facilities only.
How to reserve a space
Open the Parkable app
Navigate to Public parking or swipe through the carousel to find a parking facility
Tap Reserve and confirm by tapping Reserve again
Your space is now held for 30 minutes. Once the reservation converts into a session, the hourly rate begins.
Note: Pricing only starts when the session starts — not from when you made the reservation. If you cancel before the 30 minutes are up, you won't be charged.
How to cancel a reservation
If you no longer need the space, you can cancel any time within the 30-minute window:
Open your active reservation in the app
Tap Cancel reservation
Confirm the cancellation
You won't be charged as long as you cancel before the session starts.
Reservation limits
There are two limits to be aware of:
One active reservation at a time — across all parking facilities. To reserve somewhere else, cancel your current reservation first
One reservation per parking facility per day — once you've reserved at a particular facility, you can't make another reservation at that same facility on the same day, even after cancelling
If you've already used your reservation at a parking facility today and need to park there again, start an hourly session instead.
If someone is parked in your reserved space
If you arrive and find another vehicle in your space, see A vehicle is in my space for what to do next.
If the parking facility is full and no spaces are available, cancel your reservation to avoid being charged when the session auto-starts.
Managing your vehicle
Make sure the vehicle on your reservation matches the one you're driving — you can change your default vehicle on the reservation screen before confirming.
Important: You need at least one vehicle on your account to make a reservation. See Add or remove a vehicle from your profile if you haven't added one yet.
FAQs
Can I make more than one reservation per day?
Yes — you can make one reservation per parking facility per day. So if you have a reservation at one facility and need to switch to a different one, cancel the first reservation and you can reserve at the new facility.
You can only have one active reservation at a time, though, so cancel before reserving elsewhere.
What happens if I cancel my reservation by mistake?
Reservations cannot be restored once cancelled. You also can't re-reserve at the same parking facility on the same day. If you still need to park there, tap Start parking to begin an hourly session instead.
Will I be charged if my reservation auto-starts but I don't use the space?
Yes. Once the 30-minute reservation window ends, the session starts automatically and charges begin. If you can't make it, cancel the reservation in the app before the 30 minutes are up.
