Verify your email address when signing up

What to do if your verification email hasn't arrived, or the link says the verification token has expired.

Overview

If you haven't received your verification email after signing up, work through the checks below. Most issues are caused by a typo in the email address, the email landing in spam, or your organisation's email filter blocking it.

Tip: If your workplace uses single sign-on (SSO), you don't need a verification email at all — you sign in with your work account instead. See Access your Parkable account via single sign on (SSO).

Note: If the email did arrive but the link says your verification token has expired, skip to If your link says the verification token has expired below. You may already be verified.

What to check

  • Check your spam or junk folder — verification emails sometimes end up there. They're sent from [email protected], so searching for that sender can help

  • Check the email address you signed up with has no extra spaces or characters

  • Request another link — if nothing has arrived after a few minutes, tap Resend on the verification screen, or restart the sign-up flow. Requesting a new link doesn't cancel earlier ones, so any link less than 30 minutes old still works

  • Check whether your work email is blocking it — if you signed up with a work address, your IT team may be filtering external senders. Ask them to allowlist Parkable's emails — see Allowlist Parkable emails

Important: If your parking is through your workplace, don't sign up with a personal email address instead. Your access is tied to the work address your organisation holds for you, and a personal address won't be recognised.

If your link says the verification token has expired

You'll see "Email not confirmed. Verification token expired. Please try again."

Go back to the Parkable app first — you may already be verified. That message appears both when a link has expired and when it has already been used, so if you tapped the link at all, it may have worked. The app checks every couple of seconds and moves on by itself once your email is confirmed.

If the app is still waiting for you to verify:

  1. Request a fresh verification email from the verification screen

  2. Open it within 30 minutes

  3. Tap the link once — tapping it again will show the expired message

Note: You can open the verification link on any device. It doesn't have to be the one you signed up on.

Tip: Some workplace email systems scan links for security, which can use up or damage the link before you open it. If links keep failing, try opening the email on your phone instead.

Still stuck?

If you've tried all the above and still can't verify your email, give Parkable support a call — you don't need to be signed in to the app. See What is your contact phone number? for the number for your country.
