I'm unable to open the gate, what do I do?

Gate won't open, or showing an 'out of range' notification

To open the gate you must have either an active session or a current permit.

To access the open gate button:
1. Go to the home screen in the Parkable app, here you will see your current running session or subscription.
2. Tap “Open gate”

You must be in physical proximity of the gate for the open gate button to function.

If you’re having problems opening the gate, please check that:

  • You are in range of the gate

  • Your device is connected to the internet

  • Bluetooth enabled with no other active Bluetooth connections

  • Locations services are turned on​

You can check these settings by going to your phone settings, searching for Parkable and ensure all of the above are selected.

If your session has ended accidentally, you will need to start a new one to access the park information and the "Open gate" option
